Question about 2000 Chevrolet Astro
To change the spark plugs on the 2000 astro van you have to jack van up and take front tires off then you can go thru the rubber dust gaurd over the top a frame to get to the plugs

The sensor is in the distributor you can get it out with out pulling the distributor but its tight and has to be perfect .... pull the cap off and then the button youll see a sensor under a metal cup looking thing with a wire harness coming out of it i believe you need torks bits for the whole job if you go to any parts store and buy one then pull the cap this will make more sense.

Paul is right you can go to radio shack or autozone schucks or any parts store and ask for the removal tool it cost $20.00 tops. Trust me you don't want to undo the dash as the air bag could detonate if you shorted the two wires that can control it and it could kill you.

I always take the tire off and go through the wheel well. The middle one is the toughest because the steering column is in the way..
