Problem with right turn signal of 2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade

When I signal to the right (right only) the
signal blinks normally, but when I put my foot on the brake while
signaling to the right, the signal blinks twice as fast. So, I checked out the back tailights to see what the heck was going on. I found out that when I normally signal to the right (w/o my foot on the brake, the yellow tailight signals (which is normal), but as soon
as I put my foot on the brake, the yellow tailight stops flashing
and the upper (Red) and the lower (White/clear) lites signal instead.
The weird thing is, when this happens, my lower (White /clear) lite
on the left side starts to flash (somewhat faintly) too.
Help! Thank!

Problem fixed. All I did was take each bulb out (3 of them) and

clean them up a bit, and pull the plug at the back light and clean

that too. Put it all back together and now works fine!

    Thanks for all the help.

Wife crashes into deer with 2006 Jeep Liberty. Jeep performs beautifully, deer not so well. Front right turn signal lens is crushed. Right turn signal blinks fast, but not in front at all. I replaced the turn signal assembly, now driving/parking light which shares assembly light very faint, does not blink. When emergency flashers are engaged, other three points light and blink, right signal does nothing. Cures?

The common reasons for this to happen are the lights are on and the door is ajar, you may have a defective door ajar/open switch that is signaling the system to set off the buzzer. You must have the system control computer scanned to test these switches.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L renegade

This year and model does not have a stand alone in-line filter, the filter is on the suction side of the fuel pump inside the fuel tank and under normal conditions is only replaced when the pump is replaced (comes with the new pump). This true of all late meodel Chyrsler Products.

It's a common problem with Jeeps. You need a new switch. For some reason they burn out and are dangerous. Could cause a fire.

Jeep Liberty 2002 - I get a fast blink on the left turn signal (but a normal blink on the right). Where is the flasher located?

Normally when this happens you have a blown bulb on either the front or rear the fast blink is because with only one bulb working the flasher clicks it faster less of a load means faster blink.

Right turn signal blinks fast when brake is on.

You have a bulb out somewhere could be front or back, but that is usually why it blinks faster.
