0w is the thinnest and 30hd is the thickest. you car calls for 5-30. 5-30 synthetic is the best and oil change will be due every 7,500 miles.

It needs the same oil weight as when it was new. You can consider a high mileage blend, by casteroil, it is semi synthetic, and I have observed several oil consuming vehicles, comsume considerably LESS, using high mileage blend.
Old school thinking said to increase the weight of oil as the enging gets older, but that proved MORE DAMAGING. In terms of 5w or 10w, that is less of a concern, but you would not want a larger big number. I mean 5w 20, do not go higher than the 20, or wreck engine sooner.
The correct weight for your car should be on the fill cap or close by.

Check owners manual
Check cap on engine oil filler
Most all 4&6 cyl engines use 5w-30,you can use 0w-30
