Question about Cars & Trucks
Check for a 10 or 15 amp fuse in the fuse block under hood. On many cars, it is a fused circuit. Should be labeled as inj. fuse, maybe efi, for electronic fuel injection.

Open the ashtray, and grab the bottom of the bezel. Its only clipped in, so give it a yank and the bezel will come off. Unplug the connectors and replace your switch.

The fuse box is located low on the left side of the dashboard behind a cover, or at the left side kick panel, behind a cover.
Relay Box -is located under the left side of the dash as well.

I posted this solution for this same engine on the 2001 Kia Optima. It is Exactly the same 2.5 V6, and the instructions are exactly the same. I recommend replacing the plug wires. Please see 2001 kia Optima for the rest. Good luck, it's fairly easy.
