Question about 1998 Chevrolet K1500
I bought the truck knowing it needed a transmission rebuild so I had it rebuilt with corvette internals. It ran good for about a month after I put it in and now it won't shift up from first not even manually on the column. What would cause it not to shift, my tranny guy said he thinks it's the computer not telling it to shift like it is in limp mode but I don't know how to diagnose to see what I need to do. It doesn't kick any codes because it has been disconnected somewhere under the dash or has a blown fuse prior to me getting it, any help would be much appreciated

How about the clutch assembly, have you changed it recently or did you have it checked recently, if not, please do so 'cos that is the only thing which can cause this type of problem...................sodeep
