SOURCE: 2000 7.3 Liter diesel engine needing oil pan replacement

sadly I don't think there is. The oil pan is huge and sections of the frame are in the way of getting it in and out without damaging the pan severly. pulling that massive engine and replacing the pan, then putting the engine back in and reconnecting everything in 14 hours is a good estimate. sorry for the bad news

Remove the starter, remove the flywheel dust shield, remove the motor mounts center bolt, jack the engine as far up as possiable, this will then give you access to the oil pan bolts.

SOURCE: my 2001 Excursion Diesel is leaking oil from the

If it is in fact the oil pan gasket that is leaking, then you would first need to drain out the oil through the oil drain plug and recycle the oil. Then you can remove the oil pan and replace the old gasket with a new one, refill with the proper amount of oil. Then you can run the car and see if it still leaks.

SOURCE: How to remove oil pan

1999 Ford Truck E350 Super Duty Van 7.3L Turbo Diesel 8cyl

7.3L Diesel Engines

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Remove the engine.
  3. Remove the oil pan bolts.
  4. Lower the oil pan.
NOTE The oil pan is sealed to the crankcase with RTV silicone sealant in place of a gasket. It may be necessary to separate the pan from the crankcase with a utility knife. Also, the crankshaft may have to be turned to allow the pan to clear the crankshaft throws.
  5. Clean the pan and crankcase mating surfaces thoroughly.
To install:
  1. Apply a 1 / 8 in. (3mm) bead of RTV silicone sealant to the pan mating surfaces, and a 1 / 4 in. (6mm) bead on the front and rear covers and in the corners; you have 15 minutes within which to install the pan!
  2. Install the locating dowels into position.
  3. Position the pan on the engine and install the pan bolts loosely.
  4. Remove the dowels.
  5. Tighten the pan bolts to:
    1. 1 / 4 in.-20 bolts: 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
    2. 5 / 16 in.-18 bolts: 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm).
    3. 3 / 8 in.-16 bolts: 24 ft. lbs. (33 Nm).
  6. Install the engine.

Hope helps.

I have a 2011 6.7L diesel that looses radiator fluid, but no visible leaks on ground or on motor?

You would have to be losing the water in the combustion chamber, oil pan or Automatic transmission. Check the 2 pan dipsticks.
Since you have a 2011, it would almost certainly be under Warranty. You would be better off not opening the motor when it is covered by a Warranty.

Ford suer duty 250 diesel has diesel in water

I think you mean that you have water in your diesel fuel. Open the valve behind the fuel/water separator and drain out some of the watery fuel into a pan (place pan under the car). If you have a lot of water in your fuel, you may need to have a professional drain your fuel tank, flush out the fuel system, and try to salvage the fuel for reuse. I hope this helps.
