SOURCE: Shock Absorber replacement 2002 Explorer Sport Trac

These are just regular shocks and not struts so they should come out with just common tools. You may need to soak the fasteners in penetrating oil for a while or, use heat tget the fasteners to break loose from the corrosion.

I have a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Limited and the back window is stuck in the down position......it is -17 where I live......The motor is running but maybe window is off the track......Any help would...

You most likely will need to replace the whole track assembly. It is fairly easy to do, however getting to it is the chore. A new assembly runs around $100. The new design is a better design, and it runs quieter.

The windw wont go down i have installed a new

Which motor? which switches? So are you getting power and ground to the motor? If the switches are working then I assume that you do? If you do have power and ground, and it does not work, then the motor is bad.

I have an 2002 sport trac with an power rear back window not work

Try a Glass shop. There should only be a motor and a switch. The glass shop should be able to get the window closed for you if it is open.
The power rear window is an option, so I do not know how easy it is to find parts in a salvage yard. It may not need anything big, could be an adjustment.
You can call for estimates once you identify the TRUE problem.

2004 FORD EXPLORER SPORT TRAC POWER WINDOWS AND RADIO WONT WORK, CHECKED FUSES THATS NOT THE PROBLEM

Look in the owners manual and see if they have a circuit breaker or relay instead of a fuse. It could be bad and you would not see it.

Windows will not operate on my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

window relay module probably went bad. theres a window relay under the dash you have power . try getting a wiring diagram mabey at an auto parts store or the library. so you can trace the problem down . short of taking the doors apart and checking the motors that drive the windows . Old fix with the old school cars bang on the doors from the inside with fist . it sometimes works the connections on the old school cars . Its stupid but it worked to get the window up .

Driver Window

Sounds like a motor, or a s stuck mechanism. Either way the door panel must come off and this is no easy task.
