try a pressure bleeding system on it for the brakes.incidentaly if using the pedal to bleed brakes or getting new pads out to their position gentle use of pedal is advised otherwisw you can reverse the seals in the master cylinder and you wont get any pedal if this happens

Flush the brake fluid at the calipers for the whole system. Keep adding new fluid into the master to be sure to flush it all and check to make sure you're using the same DOT spec (3 or 4). Water expands when it gets hot, possibly keeping positive brake pressure at non-braking. Brake fluid absorbs water and the only place to get water is at the seals in the calipers.
Bad flex hoses would be an all-the-time problem, not just at higher temperatures.

The brake hose maybe bad replace it. They can claps on then self inside the hose. One work to check is have someone push the brake paddle down and release it if the rotor is hard to turn, open the bleeder vale if fluid comes out and the rotor turns freely that you problem.

SOURCE: Changing brakes on a peugeot

You have to buy new pins from Peugeot, 33 quid for the four! then you have to cut or grind the old pins inside the brake pad area between the pads and the caliper, this is not easy though. Then remove the pads with the cut off pins. Now you should be able to knock the remainder of the pins out of the caliper, the only reason they won't come out is rust, typical french idiots, have they never heard of stainless steel?

Hope this helps, Steve E B

I have a F150 p/u 2000 for 10yrs. Each year I change the brake pads. But the rear pads still looks like new. The front pads are worn down. What can be causing the problem?

normally, you replace the rear brake pads every other change in the front brake pads. for your case, it seems that the front brakes are the only ones working.

bleed your brakes to check if rear brakes are still working. after bleeding, check your brake master if it puts pressure equally to the 4 brakes.

Replacing brakes

hiya bonnie if you intend to DIY the brakes ? front pads? or rear shoes ? the front pads are easy enough for you to change in fact the pads/and calipers are virtually the same as ford and peugeot they are sliding type calipers that are held in position by 2x bolts that screw into the pins from rear of caliper when bolts removed the caliper pulls off reassembly is reverse after you push piston back the pads fit into the caliper carrier then refit/secure the caliper and pump brake pedal to take up the pads to discs B4 you move car then!bleed each brake a couple of pumps till fluid is clean the fluid that comes out first will be dirty due to heat absorbsion resulting in spongy pedal you will find pedal is more positive/hard when you bleedbrakes as i suggested brake fluid does absorb heat and moisture over time that is why it is recommended you bleed fluid to clear old fluid in lines nearest the cylinders hope this helps ? if you req further help come back will be glad to help best wishes from rochdale

I get brake judder t low breaking speeds on my 607. Feels like the ABS is kicking in. Pads and disks recently changed. Could it be a sensor faulty?

Next time you park up the car, put your hand on the wheel trims and they should be slightly warm. If you find that one of the front wheels are hot, then suspect the brake calipher. If it turns out to be a problem with the rear brakes, then they are binding if they are hub brakes and not disc.
