Question about 2003 Lincoln LS
I have a 2003 Lincoln LSV8, it has 133,xxx miles on it and during the past weel or so the car has been failng to start. At times when i turn the ignition to start the enginbe will make that clicking sound coming from under the hood then all the gauges will re-calibrate ( i assume because they all go to their max reading i.e speedo goes to 160MPH then back down again to 0MPH ) and the alarm would go off and after several attempts the vehicle would finaly start and run as normal. Tonight after a short drive of approximately 10 miles the car started to warn me to "check advancetrack" and it would come on then act like eveything was fine then repeat itself multiple times. I got home and shut my car of as normal then realized i had left my sunroof open so i retuned into my car and put the keys into the ignition to start the engine and when i tried to start i got nothing, all the lights were flickering including the exterior lights ( fog lamps and front turn signals only ) and nothing would happen, suddenly the interior lights would work and then they wouldnt out of nowhere. i figured maybe i should disconnect the battery and re-connect it. When i went to open the trunk to locate the battery my power distribution box was making a constant clicking sound, i opened the box and pulled out one of the large fuses which i will identify if needed just let me know but anyways when i pulled the fuse or relay and then placedit back where i removed it from and the clicking stopped, yet so did all the flickering of the lights but now i litteraly have no power whatsoever, no lights no nothing. i disconected and reconnected my battery and went to attempt to start my car but got nothing, only thing that happens when the ignition switch it turned to the on position is the airbag light comes on but that is ALL! i know the battery isnt dead becasue i have my radar detector plugged in and you can see its trying to power on but i guess the voltage isnt enough because the lights are dim and the display is flickering... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!! Thank you so much Jason, and you may contact me with any detailed questions at (609)752-5417
