This may happen because of door spring. I think you need to replace door spring. It can replace spring by your own or you can call an expert at http://accurategaragedoorhouston.com/

SOURCE: The side automatic sliding door is not working correctly

I had a same problem with my windstar. I found the kids somehow slipped a toy down in the track and it was jamming from this. Oh these kids sometimes. Check your door track throughly to see what is in the track. The track runs on the top as well as below the floor. Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: suzuki grand vitara 2002, rear door lock sticks

The inner trim panel is simply (?) held on with plastic push clips and a couple of screws (I think). The screws are on the lower edge from memory but have a good look around the whole trim before continuing. If all screws are removed, then all you have to do is pull the trim off. I usually get a screwdriver wrapped in a bit of cloth to help pop the first one, then you can get your fingers underneath for the rest. Start from the centre of one of the lower corners/curves.

I tiled my garage floor and now find that as soon as the door hits the floor it automatically opens again. What can i do. For the door to remain in the locked position. Thank you.

Your door will come back up when it senses anything that won't allow it to close all the way. There is an sensetivety adjustment on your opener. Adjust that until your door remains closed.

The door gaskets could be frozen to the body, or you could have ice in the door latches.

try jaking the door up a couple of inches passed the body line then release the jack and it should line up close enough to close the door.by going past the body line it will bend the hinges back close to where they should be. hope this helps, as it has for me.

Can't stop automatic sliding door from opening and alarm from dinging

Pull the 15 amp fuse for the doors and go to manual open and close. Fixing the alignment only works for a short while. Remember to turn switches to manual .
