Question about 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis
My 1988 grand won't start the ignition control module was bad so i replaced it. then i gapped and put in new spark plugs when i pulled the old one i noticed they were soaked with gas around the tfreads from me trying to start it. so i know it's getting gas. Also replaced the ignion coil and still doesnt wanna start. I even hooked up the spark plug wire to a voltmeter on the block end to see if it was recieving and spark and it was so now im stumped .... please help
Put on a "spark box" into your ignition. I have a Mallory HI-Fire 6A (?) and the car starts and runs good. You will also get better gas mileage and pass smog test.
