Follow the driver side radiator hose to the head. The thermostat is located under the casting that the hose attaches to.

I need a diagram showing the locations of the fuse boxes for a 1993 Saab 900

The fuse box is located on top of the drivers side fender under the hood. A smokey looking plastic box. There are two thumbscrews that hold it closed. Flip the lid over and it will tell you what fuses go where.

Trying to find thermostat on a 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero turbo

Most thermostats are located at the engine end of the upper rad hose. Rarely some thermostats are at the engine end of the lower rad hose but unlikely. Certain VW's have that distinction.Let me know if this helps.Moe

Thermostat is sticking

Your thermostat is inside of a housing unit. You follow your radiator to the tube that goes out the top of your radiator. That tube goes to your thermostat housing unit where your thermostat is located.

How to replace a starter

assuming you have either a 2.0 or 2.3L engine the starter is located on the back side of the engine. You may have to remove the air intake tubes from the throttle body. It sits just under the intake on the transmission. If you need further clarification let me know

Trying to replace thermostat

Reasonably certain that you have to remove the primary drive wheel, which at least on American Saabs is the front passenger-side wheel. The thermostat housing is hiding behind it. You should be able to see it from above, but it's inaccessible except through the wheel well.
Haynes makes an excellent manual with a complete step-by-step walk-through for replacing the thermostat, because I believe it's fairly extensive on this motor.
