1999. Why is A/C air flow poor?

air flow from and air conditioner is dependent on the condition of the heater blower fan
so check that the blower fan is operating at all fan speed settings
next if you live or use the vehicle in dusty conditions , the dust will build up on the evaporator fins ( condensate water and dust = mud and gunk) and blocked evaporator fins ( this will result in reduced ac operation as well
the dust is not always from out side air through a cabin filter ( may be blocked) but from dirt that is introduced into the cab from dirt on the foot wear

Poor acceleration

As you haven't stated if its petrol or diesel, I can only give you a general check list. 1. fuel pressure/delivery rate/fuel pressure regulator. 2. fuel filter. 3. intake manifold air control solenoid. 4. air intake system/vacuum system - leaks/blockage. 5.air filter. 6. exhaust system/catalytic converter. 7. engine compression. 8. ignition system. 9. injectors. 10. engine management system - connections. 11. crankshaft position sensor. 12. evaporative emission (EVAP) canister. 13. Mass air flow sensor (MAF). 14. Throttle position (TP) sensor. 15. Engine/clutch/breaks condition. 16. Engine control module (ECM). It seems a lot to check, but that is the list given from a data sheet. Knock yourself out and have fun.

Poor throttle response

Drive to your closest AutoZone and have them perform a FREE diagnostic scan. You appear to have a bad intake air temperature sensor, faulty ignition system or a mass air flow sensor problem.

The diagnostic scan will immediately pinpoint the problem. If either one needs to be replace, you can do-it-yourself in about fifteen minutes even if you have no mechanical experience

I filled up my 2002 Mazda MPV yesterday at Walmart, Manning

Could be bad gas, water in the gas? Run the tank down to about 1/4 and put gas from somewhere else in it. Maybe higher octane for one tank full. Maybe put an additive in with it. If it clears up, then it was the gas.

My check engine light is on.

Hi, this is either a bad housing with bad wire connections that are lose or corroded. I recommend inspecting the wire contact clips that are located on the Idle air control motor. if the wire clips and wires themselves are in good condition, i recommend replacing the IAC(idle Air Control) motor.

Please rate and god bless:)
