SOURCE: 2007 Kia rondo interior lights stay on when headlights turned on

I had the same problem for months. Finally took it to the dealer. The first time, they diagnosed is as a short in the rear interior bulb, and put in a new bulb. Got it home and still had the same problem.

The second time in, they figured things out. On the dash to the left of the steering wheel is a knob that controls the brightness of the dash lights. But, if this knob is all the way on, it turns on the interior lights and keeps them on. Just had to turn this knob down, and the problem was solved!

Adjust my headlight 2006 Kia Sorento

Replace your headlight like this:
2006 Kia Sorento passenger head light removal and replacement

Here is some stolen text:
"There is an adjustment screw for both headlights. I too have HIDs and I love them. Clockwise lowers the beam and Counterclockwise raises them. You can find measuring specifics online. Something like 20 feet away from a wall on a level surface the cutoff needs to be something related to the distance from the floor to the middle of the headlight"

A little more here:
"thanks, I successfully made the adjustment last night, the tool required is a Torx T-60 bit"

and all kinds of hints and instructions here:

When i turn on the headlights the dash lights do not turn on. The tail do not turn either but seem to come on when you put the car in drive with the head lights on.

Hey there..my name is Keith..and the head lights and tail marker lights are turned on by the headlight switch..it sounds like there is bad contacts in the switch on the dash where you turn the headlights on..and that would be the 1st thing i would replace..i hope this has helped..if not please write back

On the left switch stalk, there's a rotating ring that turns on the fog lights (only when the headlights are also on).
