93 Dodge Spirit hit curb Hit curb on back driver side tire. Nothing wrong with tire but right after I hit the curb, my car started to shake and slow down. It turned off completely when at a stop. Oil light came on. Pressed gas and turned key, it got me home...smoke coming from engine. Oil spilling out..no hole or anything. Engine shakes..I still have a good amount of oil and transmission fluid. When I put it in drive, it shakes and rattles and turns off. I have no money for a mechanic..please help

The smoke came from the spilled oil leaking onto a hot surface ( manifold) No problem there. The oil light coming on was probably from the oil surging away from the oil pickup in the sump momentarily allowed the oil pump to suck air hence a drop in oil pressure. To have all that happen, the hit on the curd was substantial. so I thinking bent axle flange and broken engine mounts could explain vibrations and engine shaking

SOURCE: car won't start wants to turn over but nothing.

sounds like you have a blown head gasket this would explain loss of coolant and running poorly excessive smoke.

Not sure what is causing it, but it sounds like you're running on 3 cyllinders. Check plugs, wires, timing . timing belt may have jumped, bad injector, low fuel pressure.

SOURCE: 94 Lincoln TC engine stalls when slowing/stopping

Most common cause of stalling for Lincolns in that era is the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). It regulates fuel mixture, idle speed etc. A bad TPS will usually act up in one of two ways:

  1. When cold, car continually stalls
  2. When warm, car stalls when slowing down (especially if AC is on)
As far as valve cover oil leak, it's a problem that should be addressed to keep oil from fouling your spark plugs but highly unlikely to be the cause of your stalling problem. Hope this answers your question. All the best.

SOURCE: 04 Nissan Quest Shaking while driving

Put on the spare tire and see if that helps. If it does, go to the tire store and use your hazard coverage for them to check your rim for being bent or your tire from having a bruised belt. The rim is your responsibility, the tire is the tire stores. An 04 should have spare rims in Salvage yards. You can go online for those if need be.

2007 dodge caliber rt slap stick put new tires on 3 months ago driver side front tire is worn cant let off wheel car pulls bad to the right side of the road

The popping could be from a bad CV axle joint, or a bad wheel bearing. Better get checked, sounds very worn. Raise the wheel on a jack and watch for play. Grab wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock, and shake back and forth-watch for play. Wheel bearing? CV joint -is boot still good? Ball joints at bottom of wheel attaching point to the control arm-check this for play, too.

What condition are your tires in ? hit anything lately ? curb , pot hole ? Have your tires checked an balanced ! An have a alignment check done ! Also check for a sticking caliper ! worn suspension parts , control are bushings !

Slid on ice and hit a curb..now my front driver side wheel is rubbing the back of the tire well.what is most likely wrong.

You bent part of the suspension. Most likely the lower control arm and will need to get it replaced and aligned. Have the mechanic check the ball joints for good measure when replacing the items.

A few possibilities.... bent rim, broken steel belt in tire, or a wheel weight that keeps the tire/wheel combination in balance has fallen off. Not sure how big the bump was, so other options would be suspension related. I would check the tire and/or wheel first.

I hit a curb on the back driver side and now the wheel is bent what parts would i have to repair

It may be that you'll luck out with just a wheel change. Depends on how hard you hit the curb. If it got hit hard enough it can damage more, but the way to tell is to mount a straight wheel (pick one up at a wrecking yard for 1/2 the price of a new one). Then mount your tire on the wheel, put it on the lugs with the tire still in the air, give it a good spin and watch the tracking. Chances should be pretty good that you'll only need the wheel..

I hit a curb and it's not working properly..

best advice at this time is to jack up both front wheels and support vehicle on stands! then remove wheels and check/compare damage with the undamaged side as to what damage has been done? then either come back with info ? for advice or have a competant mechanic localy? advise you ? i do appreciate you wish to save $$$$s in diy and you feel confident and wish to do the repair/s saving on garage labour costs but when job is done you will need to have steering tracking etc recheck hope this helps and wish you luck !
