The plastic intake should have this sequence molded into it somewhere, and even the corresponding cylinder numbers in front of their respective holes. Have fun, and thanks for posting on Fixya.com

SOURCE: 2002 gmc envoy shuts off when i turn on the ac whil ideling

If it does it when idling I would suspect an IAC motor (Idle Air Control). If it is opening too slowly the added air the motor needs will not be supplied fast enough and the engine will kill.

It could be other things also but this is where I would start.

Where is the PVC valve located and how do you replace

LJ
You should find the PVC valve (positive crankcase ventilation) on the surface of the valve cover with a hose connected to it. Sometimes it's hard to spot but it's not to replace.

Where is the pvc loaded and how do you replace it?

It is located in the top of the intake manifold...In the old version manifold it is part of the manifold (Can't replace it individually), the new version it is removable.

Gmc savana 2002 has lot air front oil cap

the PCV valve may be fine but what about the hose . It cab ne blocked up . Is the PCV valve connected up right . It is a one way valve and opens under vacuum ( when the engine is overrunning the throttle ). The extra air from the filler cap is an indication of excessive blow by in the combustion chambers past faulty/ worn/ broken rings.

Were is pvc valve located at on a 2004 gmc envoy

Pcv valves to my knowledge are always in top flat part of valve cover. Will be on one or other side and just pushes through a rubber grommet. It is metal on bottom about size of cigarette lighter that pushes in in a car. It will have a line that connects to it normally running to breather tubing. The part in-between air filter and throttlebody.

How do i change the shift solenoid on a gmc envoy 4x4?

The sift solenoids are located on the valve body inside the transmission.
The transmission pan has to be removed to gain access the the valve body. Once the pan is removed the valve body is in plain sight.
Removal of the transmission filter will grant you a clearer view as well.
This is a 4L60E transmission, in the event you have not purchased the solenoids.

2002 GMC Envoy Pcv value location

Actually the 4.2 liter engine (2002 Envoy) it does have Positive Crankcase Ventilation, just no valve. It has a PCV tube which provides a passage between the crankcase and the intake manifold. Not a maintenance item to be concerned about, unless the tube gets clogged up!

Good luck and hope this helps answer your question.

Could you direct me to a website that gives instructions on how to tune up a 05 GMC envoy

the only procedures that would classify as a tune up on an '05 vehicle would include changing the air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and PCV valve.ignition is 'solid state' and timing is computer controlled.

Where is the pcv on 2002 gmc sierra

PCV (positive crankcase ventilation)valves are almost always located on the valve cover.
I can not tell you positively where it is on this truck. It may be in the line that goes back into the intake cowling.
