SOURCE: I HAVE A CONVERSION VAN

Once again, it could be the temperature doors not operating correctly on the rear hvac module.

SOURCE: I have a 2003 dodge caravan and the front air

The problem may just be with the evaporator unit found at the passenger cabin. At times you may just need some cleaning to get it working.

AC blows hot air out the front vents no matter the setting. It is winter so it is not too bad. The back vents blow cool air but not cold.

Getting your system recharged at a dealership would be recommended but only hot air coming through the front could be an hvac problem, make sure that all your vacuum lines that run to your system are not crushed or unplugged, they will be located in the engine bay of your vehicle.

Generally you would need to check the level of freon in the system, and probably the expansion valve in the rear unit. You should have one hot and one cold ac line going to each evaporator.

06 caravan front ac blows hot air rear blows cold ?

The expansion valve controlling the front a/c is not working correctly. Will have to replace valve to correct the problem. The best thing to do is take the van to a garage to have this done. It not a job for a home owner to try to repair himself without all the proper equipement. Hope this will help you.
