Question about Cars & Trucks
Car alarm started going off while i was driving. I don't have a keyfob just the valet key. I had to turn car off, get out and shut alarm off with the key in the drivers side door. when I get back in the car it wont start right away. I can get it started after a min. or two, but then the alarm will set when i close the door and start the car! Now the past few days i cant even get the car to start and my windows stopped working all together. The car isn't worth much and I can't keep pouring money into it. (I just paid 750$ to fix my power steering) I really want to just yank out the alarm please help Thanks

Try removing the alarm system relay, some car alarm has also a fuse on the alarm that you can remove.
Many car alarms unlock by inserting and turning car key while you connect the battery.

The Alarm on my Mercedes ML320 sounded every night, then it started doing it more often, Showed it to the dealer he says it's the 'Tow Sensor', that needs to be repaced. $700, down the drain. I have already started hating this car, it eats $500-600, every 6 months...

from what it sounds to me is that the alarm is still in anit theft mode
i had this happen to my vehicle
one thing you can try is lock all the doors try and unlock from the passenger side make sure that all the lock come up to the top where they should be
then try it
if that does not work then lift up the rear of the car like it was being towed and it should reset the alarm
short of that you will have to have alarm shop come to you

you need to reset alarm/immobiliser.lock car with remote, hold button down for 30 secs, then press/hold down unlock button, should reset.another way is with key in ignition/turned on, press alarm button down and hold for 30 secs.this resets immobiliser.toyota
systems vary..depending on market.
