Could be a weak fuel pump, or a dirty fuel filter. . It could also be a TPS throttle positioning sensor as it lets the motor know where throttle should be at in sync with the RPM's good luck let me know how you make out. and please rate my solution

sounds like it could be iac motor (idle air control) or maybe Mass air sensor . No check engine?? Also check and clean EGR ... at least thats a place to start.... You can also remove and clean IAC motor with carb cleaner.
