How do you fix stuck opn timing valvecontrol solenoid?

You usually can't fix them, unless you remove the solenoid from the end of the CAM shaft. They VVT solenoid, usually jams up because of dirty oil sludge, deposits, oil not being changed as often as it should be. Some have taken the VVT apart and fixed them, search You Tube, most either buy a new one...Pretty expensive, or take it to the dealer to have it fixed, still expensive.

The Engine Control Module (ECM) uses signals from the vehicle speed sensor to detect the actual gear position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th gear). Then the ECM compares the actual gear with the shift schedule in the ECM memory to detect mechanical troubles of the shift solenoid valves and valve body.

Chevy impala 2005 3.4 engine. I have code P0753 it says 1-2 shift solenoid. will flushing transmission fix that problem. where are the shift solenoid on that car

code p0753 refers to shift solenoid(SS) A-electrical===causes--wiring--shift solenoid--ECM/TCM
The fault is electrical as it is a solenoid ( an object that has a coil wound around a core in which a bar of steel is magnetically moved when the coil is energized This bar movement moves valves or locks bands or clutches)
Change the solenoid and check out the transmission control module(TCM).
changing the oil will be good for the transmission but will not fix the electrical fault.

2001 volvo v70 po785 how can i fix the problem

Ok well P0785 - Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction (3-2 shift solenoid is not working properly)

A good mechanic should be able to access this shift solenoid (3-2) by removing the transmission cover, and valve body. Shift Solenoids are installed in the valve body, and are like electronically controlled mechanical "on / off" switches. Also see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsVY6by00rc

Have 5 codes coming up on my 2007 saturn vue v6 one is po498, po455(twice), and po442(twice). Do not know what po498 is and how to fix all. I believe it has something to do with evap canister solenoid, not...

Effectively it is a evaporator canister solenoid failure, Tis can be triggering the other codes. You need a scanner to test the solenoid so you can activate and deactivate the solenoid, if you hear the solenoid clicks then it's ok, but if it doesn't click, then you have a faulty solenoid and you need to replace it. It's an easy and inexpensive fix, if it doesn't click then just replace the solenoid, make sure you erase the codes with the scanner after you replace the solenoid. Ask your mechanic to test the solenoid first.
Attached there is a video of how to test and replace the evap canister solenoid in another car, but maybe it will give you or your mechanic an idea.
