Is the check engine light on, and have you checked the computer for trouble codes ?
Is there a large vac leak on the hose between the throttle body and the air cleaner, or the intake?
Is the exhaust system plugged up ?
Is the EGR system working ?

There are not any codes that are popped up after i replaced the downstream O2 sensor last week. The sensor cage was all bashed in, Shortly after that is when all this started, so I am guessing I have a plugged up exhaust. Didn't even think of that, I will be checking that out tomorrow. Thank you.

SOURCE: The fuel guage on my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica jumps around

This is a simple service fix. It's a glitch in the computer system. Take it to the dealer and there is some sort of code they can enter to "update" the car's computer.
Mine does it occasionaly, it annoying, but not harmful.
I've heard of some that will act up for a while, then stop, while others, have acted up and them the fuel gauge stays on empty.
Talk to the dealer.

Whistle noise

A whistling noise can be generated by an alternator at high RPM's and indicates a slip ring brush problem or a diode failing . It resembles a frequency whistle.. IT may also be from a leaking gasket and a partially blocked exhaust system from a failed cat converter and at speed and power, the exhaust gas is forced out the hole

My engine is idling very high

High idle speed is an indication of a vacuum leak. Listen for a small whistle. Find the whistle sound, you will find the leak. Now repair the bad hose, or broken plastic tube with a small chunk of hose that will fit over the tube. If it is more major, it could be an intake manifold gasket. The engine uses an idle air motor to control engine RPM. After fixing the vacuum leak, the engine may not idle at all, until you drive the car for about 5 minutes above 40 MPH. The idle air motor resets itself to 0.

Has anyone come up with a fix for the loud whistle in the f 150's? I have replaced the idler pully and one other pully as well as the serpentine belt. Still have the problem when the weather is below 40....

I thought this was an issue with the alternator. If it is the same one, there was a TSB on this a while back, only sound issue, to date I have yet to see a failure with the alternator due to this.

My 2006 does it, I confirmed with an engine stethoscope still have no issues in 56K miles, and stil have the factory battery installed.

07 pacifica 3.8 eng. with 4 speed At low rpm's 1200 to 2000 it shudders and has a jerky feeling. It runs great at 70 mph at 2200 rpm and has good floor board acceleration . 4 dealers fail to acknowledge...

Well there is a rev limiter built into the pcm on your car. It is much lower rpm's in park and neutral. When u hit the rev limit of a particular gear selection, the pcm starts cutting out the injectors(fuel). This is normal. As far as the jerky feeling, the only thing I know of is a service bulletin that may apply to your car. It involves a revised torque converter for the transmission. It would only apply if your feeling this at speeds of approx 35 mph or higher when the torque converter lockup engages after a shift. Ask your dealer about a possible tsb for this if you think this may sound like your problem or search for tsb's(technical service bulletin's) yourself on the internet.
