Question about 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante
Trans features in car come on but trans does not react to anything it has electroinc shift but not working wont shift into overdrive even when button is on and power/eco button for trans lights up but no reaction i replace solenoid pack in trans new filter and fluids but electronic gears still not working only thing i can think of is comp issue i unplugged comp and test drive it and car idle smothed out but and rmps at 60 mph were at 3500 plugged comp back in and car idle jump all over and overreved but but still no pwr features work. elect shift will not work
There is a transmission control module under the dash . it is behind the console.

well the low cost way to go first would be to try and change the trans fluids. If the problems still remains the it may be an internal problem

Sounds like you have a solonoid out in your transmission. No simple fix for this. You will more than likely have to drop the transmission to replace solonoid.
