Question about 1991 Oldsmobile 88
There is nothing happening when you turn the key, no lights, no dash lights, no click, not even a ding. We put the battery on a charger and it is charged, but nothing has yet to happen. It is a 1991 Oldsmobile Royale 88, with a 3.8 liter v6.
I had this same problem and after about a month finally found that it was a ground problem. There is a distribution plate inside the car that many ground wires connect to on the drivers side behind the kick panel. This plate in my vehicle was very corroded and not creating a good ground throughout the vehicle.I solved the problem by removing the wires from the plate and attaching them all together with a large wire nut and wrapping in electrical tape. This simple fix worked and i haven't had a problem since.

I'd check the terminal connections and twist them a little to see if they're loose or corroded.
Then follow the wires and check all other connections from the battery.
Can you jump start it?
If not it could be the solenoid or something else!
I once had this problem and finally discovered it was a melted connector under the dash on the drivers side right below the ignition.
I hope this was helpful!
