SOURCE: 85 s-10 2.5l no fuel from the injectors

electronic engine control unit calculates the mass of fuel to inject, not how wide it sprays. It's the type of solenoid that you use. Some have wider spray nzzles than others. An external Fuel pump helps the delivery of the fuel. Also since fuel injectors rely on mass air flows nowadays, you have to have proper mixture coming through. hows your Fuel pressure regulator?

The throttle position sensor reports to the computer the position of the throttle butterfly valve, which the ECM uses to calculate the load upon the engine-but inorder for this to run, you may need an external pump.

Sounds like nothing is being grounded back to the ECM to even give a reading. If your regulator is improper and you do not have a external pump (depending on your model), than check those. If not, Start from scratch.

If you ever lose your way, go back to the beginning_REWIRE!

Goodluck.

SOURCE: Flat spot around 2000r/m

Try accelerating at different speeds, for example push pedal further down, or ease into it real slow & let it climb, and see if it still dies at 2000 rpm, just to see if pedal position makes any difference to see if maybe TP sensor has bad spot.

SOURCE: throttle body injectors not fiering but there is fuel pressure

the injectors are fired thru the engine cotrol module but it gets its signal to fire from the pick-up located inside the distributor if you are loosing injector pulse only the ignition module is bad if you are also loosing spark when you loose injector pulse your pick up is causing the problem if you replace the pick-up i recomend you change the ignition module when doing so because they work together and you have to remove the distributor to change the pick-up

bleed the air out of the injector pipes
loosen the nuts at the injectors and wind the engine over ( as if trying to start ) and when you have full fuel drops tighten each pipe and it will start

1968 ford 2000 tractor 3 cylinders number 1 cylinder isn't getting fuel from injector pump the other 2 are is pump bad or not primed right

You need to ensure that here are no vacuum leaks in the line from the tank to the lift pump, the lift pump which looks very similar to a car petrol pump must be in good working order ie able to pump the minimum pressure and volume at cranking speed and idle speed.
If the lift pump is not working properly it will cause cavitation at the injector pump that will cause low pressure bubbles on the intake of the injector pump. If you have a good lift pump and there are no vacuum leaks between the tank and the lift pump then it may be down to bleeding the air out of the injector lines first at the pump, and then at the end of the injector lines (be very careful the diesel is at 170 to 175 times atmospheric pressure which is about 2500 pounds per square inch (which can penetrate skin deeply and even bone). Most of the Ford tractors use a rotary injection pump. Having only one cylinder not pressurizing is extremely unusual, try swapping the injectors between cylinders to see if it is a faulty injector, making sure to use new or at least anneal the old copper sealing washers and tension the injectors evenly with a tension wrench to correct torque. If the misfire then follows the injector it means your need the injectors servicing. New needles & nozzles for injectors is a lot cheaper than a new or rebuilt rotary injection pump. Please advise if it’s an inline pump. (which I doubt they were rare because they cost more).

What would cause gas to leak from the engine?

You are smart not to drive until this problem is rectified. Do a good visual inspection to try and locate the source. You don't mention make model or year so that limits the detail we can provide.

This may help

I have a F350 diesel non- tubo with a fuel leak in back at top. replaced o ring at back injector and replaced all hose clamps but still bad runing leak. What next?

This engine has fuel lines that run to each injector from the injector pump. On the older Fords they touch each other in places. This constant vibration from the engine has caused a pin hole in one of your fuel lines to the injector. You will need to find the bad line. Can be hard as some of these are buried and hard to see. The replacement line will need to be purchased from Ford as each fuel line has to be a certain length and they are all high pressure lines. I have seen this many times in the older Fords.

My Hyundai Santa Fe starts sometimes, If I continue to turn the key off and on it evenully starts. I have plenty of power, and the clicking is coming from on top of the motor under the shod under the hood,...

First of all, that 'ticking' noise you mention, if it's what I think it is, it's normal (purge control solenoid valve) being modulated by the ECM to **** the vapors back out of the charcoal canister. The 'Hard Starting' condition you describe could be almost anything from fuel (fuel pressure, fuel pump, injectors), timing, air leaks, vacuum leaks, crank position sensor, etc.). You'll want to connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel feed hose/tube at the engine fuel rail (where the injectors are) and monitor the pressure when this hard start condition occurs so you can at least eliminate it as the cause. If you find the pressure is low or 'intermittent' or 'fluctuates' abnormally, you'll want to inspect the wiring/connections between the fuel pump fuse and the fuel pump connector - repair/replace as needed. If the wiring/ connections are good and you have power & ground at the fuel pump, then the problem is probably the fuel pump.

Low fuel pressure

U 1st need to test fuel pressure at the fuel pressure test port on the top of the engione in the fuel supply rail to the injector tops, it looks like a metal tire vale stem, u will need to buy a special fuel pressure tester to do this test. U should have around 55-60 PSI at idle, it should go up when u gun the engine but never go down, if it goes down the fuel filter or pump are suspect.

95 Blazer Vortec starting problem.

Hello;
First you need to have your fuel system tested. It sounds as though the relay and pump have gone out. When you turn the ignition to on the pump should energize for 2 seconds and stop. The pump will deliver fuel after startup. Poor performing pump equals poor performing vehicle. With the vehicle not staying running when it did start, I would check the fuel pressure and then replace the pump. You can check the fuel pressure regulator by pulling off the vacuum line and see if you have fuel in the line. If you do the regulator is shot. The fuel pump relay also needs to be checked for operation especially if the fuel pump is not working. Also check your rollover valve to be sure it has not tripped.
Thanks;
Rich
