Question about 1994 Toyota Camry
Well i recently test drove a 94 toyota camry it ran pretty well despite a few problems.
Anyways on the highest setting of heat and ac it runs extremely loud. When you cut it down a few notches it gets quiet.
The other thing is when braking even the slightest bit the whole car shakes. I'm just trying to figure out if these 2 problems are bad or not and if they would be costly to fix.
Regarding the heater issue: You may have some items from the glove box that may have been drawn into the heater fan. The intake for the heater system from the interior is right behind the glove box. It is a rather simple operation to remove the lower trim cover from the dash panel, under the glove box, and remove the 3 retention screws from the fan motor assembly. It drops straight down, Inspect the fan for debris.
Regarding the vibration when braking:
I would think that the front brake rotors are heat-distorted, and thusly slightly warped. Replacement of the front brake rotors will correct this condition.
