No heat 79 Scottsdale. Seems like cold air coming through flap on heater box but only Luke warm air from heater

Are you able to manually move the blend air door to the hot position. It may not be moving into position all the way. Confirm while sliding the lever back and forth that the cable is moving the door enough. This will take you loking at the location of the blend air cable mounting to the heater box.

When the Heat Is turned on, it Blows out Cold Air...Why is This happening?

Just above the front passenger footwell is a black plastic box. This box has a flap door on it opened and shut by the temperature control knob. Often this door or the cable moving it has become stuck in the open or cold position. Also the heater core inside the box can become corroded or plugged with age, that can also cause the problem. Someone is going to have to take a look and figure out which.

Heater is not coming on

He moved the diverter flap and unhooked the cable going to the heater control. If you look down there you should be able to see it and hook it back up.

Ford ka 2005 heater fault

There is a vacuum operated actuator that is in the venting system When you switch your control knob, a vaccum pressure is applied to this actuator. Then the actuator moves a flap that controls the warm air/cold air flow. The flap can get stuck, or the actuator can become leaky or weak

1999 Jeep Cherokee sport/air vents do not blow out cold or hot while it is on

this sounds like the recirculation door in the heater box is broken and this is a difficult and can be an expensive repair as the dash has to be removed for access. a quick check for this is if you release the glove box and let it hang you will see the heater box if you reach up to the left top you will feel a grid and the recirc flap is housed there you can operate the blower and hot and cold and see if flap moves

Heater is blowing only cold air. both hoses for heater core are warm. what you think, main flap is stuck or is something else??

Hello there..Its two things..If your saying that the heater hoses are hot into the car,,either the blend dorr they call it thats what changes from cold to hot,the flap as you say,or the heater controller that controls it is bad..The dial on the dash that says cold to hot..Shut car down and listen for the flap to open and clse when you change it to hot to cold..If you hear it moving doesnt neccisarily mean that its working it could be broke from the flap and just spinning around or the flap its self is broke,or the heater controls are bad,,Hope this helps you and have a great day

Very little heat from heater

the selector flap is not moving all the way to cold or hot position. Under the dashboard on the passenger side is a heat/ac box where all the duct work for the vents originates from. inside that box is the radiator for the heater and the cooling coil for the ac. the selector flap between them is stuck or not moving all the way.
