Rev limiter comin on when given a little gas

some of the computer have a rev limiter built in and it would give you what you are writing about there my not be anything wrong

IAC sensor could be bad.

The engine control computer is bad or the sensor string is sending it faulty information which puts it in the limp in mode.

check the throttle position sensor voltage and map sensor voltage.

Fuel filter should be located near the fuel tank under the truck possibly on the frame rail

It sounds like the gas control lever under the hood may be sticking a little and not retracting fully to idle.Open your hood and have someone start your car.When they give it some gas you should see the actuator move which has a cable attached,probably located at the end of the fuel injectors on the driver side.It should be pretty noticeable as about the only moving mechanism when the gas pedal is pushed.Usually pushing the gas pedal makes the lever move toward the driver.Once you have found it,push down on it in the opposite direction as giving gas to see if the revs decrease back closer to idle.If it does,WD-40 on the hinge where it pivots may help.Spray it,rev it a couple times and check.Even if it works on the first try,do it a couple more times.If this does not work,please reply back and I will get an auto link to see what you posted. all engines have a rev limiter in them to keep from revving the engine too high,they all cut out about 1900 to 2000rpms.

obviously play around with the idle. sometimes these old cars just need to be played around with for a bit. have the car idle a little bit higher than it should. also it might be taking in air at a constant rate

IAC -idle air control sensor!! known to be faulty in 91 accords.
