Behind the glove box you will see the heater box. On top of the heater box you will see a set of wires going to a small controller box that has an arm on it. It is probably not working and you can only by them at the dealer. It is the dual climate controller and cost approx. $100.

Buick park ave 1997. Hot air on drivers side, cold on passenger???

either the air duct under the dash is broken or diconnected, or you have a broken or disconnected vacume hose or line. unless you have seperate/digital controls for dr/pass air. if that is the case then you need to replace dr side control unit.

think the heater core is partialy blocked ,drain coolant antifreeze and fill with water then add some caustic soda say a half a cupfull then run car for a day or two till the heater starts blowing hot then give a good flush and refill with the antifreeze ,cant say it will work but their is a good chance it will work

The heater blows out cold air on pass. side. Warm air on drivers side

Your car is equipped with "Dual Climate Control". Make sure that the temperature control for the passenger side is turned to the "Hot" position. If it is already at the hot position and still blowing cold air, then you most likely have a failed passenger blend-air door motor or a broken passenger blend-air door.

The motor can be replaced with very little labor (a little over 2 hours) but if the door is broken, you are talking about major surgery...total dash removal....about 8 hours of labor.

Same problem w/95 park ave

Sounds like a bad blend door, or a bad control unit. Get it checked at the dealer to know for sure.

My 1997 buick park avenue when i open the ac on the passenger side it blows cold air and on the driver side hot air how can i fix this

U need to replace the air temperature control blend door actuator motor, this requires removing the dash to access the motor for the blend door.

1996 buic park heater starts to heat then afer a minute blow cold

it sounds like you have a blend door problem. This is located in the HVAC sysem it closes a door from cold side to hot side. sounds like a bad servo motor or a vacuum leake on that motor. Hope this helps you, please rank this solution
