Near side brake juddering

Hi , on my golf near side theres a slite judder when goin over 60 and the tyre edged is startin to show signs of wear ,, the car drives perfect but when turning and applying the brake it seemed only partial of the brake was braking , is that possible ?,,,,,so i took the tyre of to inspect. after inspection all linkages and bolts wear fine but noticed 2 wires going to each end of the brake caliper,,, the lower wire seems to be cut perfectly for an easy repair,,,, could this be the reason to the brake issue, thanks

thanks people,,, you all seem to knows your problems which is great,, what are the wires for going to each end of the caliper { the copper electric ones, not the fluid

nothing been changed as far as barke pads ,, all whats happened is the cars gone to a garage for a service which wasnt the normal place the car gos too. its always gone to the same garage before with never a problem with a full service history,,,now the car picks and chooses when to make the juddering noise ,mostly its 100 percent perfect it seems when ive applied the brakes on a bend then straight back forward , the caliper is still a bitt out of line,, which cant be cos itt fixed,, so could it be the pad not applying evenly on the disc ,,, which brings me back to the 2 wires, which 1s snipped ?

The wheel wobble could be balance on road wheel, check n/s track rod end for wear this could be why the tyre is wearing. If you change track rod end get it re-tracked and the front wheels balanced...Good-luck...

SOURCE: brake pedal judder when bkaking

It sounds like the front calipers, did you change the front brakes also? when they wear down past piston tollerance, you will get the push back on your brake pedal, also flush out all the used brake fluid, and replace it with fresh. When you have the calipers off, lube the pistons with bearing grease, you can push the pistons down with a c-clamp.It sounds like the whining noise is from low power steering fluid,to know for sure I need to know more details, from the noise location.

When I am driving along the car seems to judder mainley n on flat road when I accelerate it go.s o-k again

It depends what you mean by judder and where it comes from. If the judder comes through the steering column it could be worn or badly adjusted wheel bearings. Get it checked out by a garage or a tyre fitting shop as soon as possible.

Juddering after changing front tyres and pads

If you just changed the brake pads with out machining the disc rotors then that will give you a problem straight up especially if the rotors were damaged from the pads worn down too far. There is a way of putting on new tyres and if not fitted correctly you may get a problem there as well. Check the mould line on the side of the tyre that is almost at the rim and see if it is the same distance from the rim all the way around on both sides . This will show if the tyres have been fitted correctly

Nissan troubleshooting

if you never had the problem before the tyres change and brakes. then I would say this is the fault. brake pads/disc may be sticking or the tyres have not been balanced or done properly. both the problem of the person who did these jobs.

Hi there i have a year 2000 ford courier van 1.8 td, and when you brake there is a judder through the peddle, the harder you brake the worse the judder, van has been parked up and disks are rusty could this...

Yes, the rotors need to be turned, or replaced depending on if they are warped. The brakes may need to be changed, they may have grooves worn into them from the judder you feel.
