The fuel filter on this vehicle is going to be on the firewall just under the windshield. it will have 2 or 3 hoses connected into it, and should be connected to the mount with a hose clamp.

ok its very simple... there is two hoses on the top of the fuel filter held in place by two nuts. remove the nuts, and the clamp securing the fuel filter in place, then install the new filter by clamping it in place of the old filter and bolt on the lines in the same fashion you removed them from the old filter. be careful when you remove the lines as they have a metal washer between them and the filter, and they may fall when you remove the fuel line. not a big deal, but a hassle to have to go to the parts store and buy new ones. there is no need to torque the bolts, just crank them down snug, and then a 1/8th of a turn farther. thats it, your good to go.

Where is the fuel filter on a 1991 Honda civic Si. And how do i change it?

Under the hood, by the fire wall, to remove unscrew both clamps, top and bottom, when installing new fuel filter, make sure the outlet side of the fuel filter is toward the engine.

I have a 1988 honda civic it shuts down while Im driving. It will start up again after a few minutes. I replaced the fuel pump but the problem is still on going. please help me

Sounds like your fuel pump relay is going bad. On most honda models this is located under the dash on the driver's side of the car. If the relay is okay, then the next step would be to replace the iginition switch. On my 1988 Honda it would not start up after I shut it off and went into the store and came back out. My brother's Honda would just shut down when turning a corner or changing lanes. After changing his fuel pump and fuel filter, we changed the ignition switch and that solved the problem. If I were you I would change the ignition switch.

I can not find where the fuel filter is located on my 2002 honda civic. Can you tell me where to located the fuel filter?

Usually on the firewall passenger side. It is a metal can looking filter. If you get the new one you can spot the old one.
