No power to rear window defroster in 2003 Ford Mustang

I own a 2003 Ford Mustang V6. The rear window defroster is not working. Fuses are okay and there is power at the switch, bot no power at the wire and plug at the reaer window. Ford parts indicated that there is a timer relay, but cannot locate a part number or location. I searched my Chilton's manual and the internet without any luck. Can anyone assist with a part number or the location of the relay?

    No. Standard coupe.

I checked both sides and performed resistance checks with a multimeter. All readings indicate the wiring and defroster are good.

The switch is protected by a fuse and it activates the relay which handles the high current needed to operaate the back window. You should have a light that comes on when the switch is turned on.

it's behind dash panel, center.

It may be your heater core going out, but I would check all my fuses to make sure they weren't any of them bad before I started checking anything else. Hope this information is helpful to you.

Your blend door is stuck. The bled door is vacum operated. Make sure there are no broken vacum hoses under the hood. If that is okay then your hrad unit may be bad, or your blend door may need replacement.

sound like a fuse problem. there is one set of fuses under the driver side dash area and another under the hood in a black box marked fuses.

Look in the owners manual and find out which fuse is common to both, then find out where it is located. It may be in the panel under the hood, the manual will point you in the right direction.

Which fuse is for the rear window wiper and rear window defogger on 2003 Toyota 4Runner (V6)?

You Have one fuse for the wipers in the car. Left side of steering wheel and the back cover should list the fuses and location. The other box is located in the engine compartment above the battery. They should list the fuse locations under the compartment covering the fuses. Hope that helps
