Question about 2004 Mazda Tribute
There is a sensor, typically in the dash, that engages and disengages the clutch on the compressor. If this sensor goes out several things could happen, compressor never shuts off or it never turns on, or as happened when I had problems it kept shutting off the compressor and the car would not cool off. This has to be repaired by a shop. Or you do like my brother did and put a toggle switch on it and turn it on and off as you want.
