Its just wire,that will melt/burn easy.usually near the starter

Fuse link is a thin wire in circuit burns melt away like fuse if you have short in circuit fuse wire link located in the starter wires look for fuse link in the red small starter wire going to starter solenoid switch S.

fuseable li,nk or fuses ar locate in 2 different places
look right by the baterie there should be a fuse box close by it will contain fuses and releys
there are a couple or large fuses some mfg's call theise lg fusues fusable links

A couple things could have happened. Your battery is dead. You blew the main fuse or a fusible link.

buy it yourself cheaper Impala disc brake conversion


get rotors from
69-74 nova
70-72 monte carlo
67-72 chevelle
69-72 gto
69-72 grand prix
69-72 buick skylark
69-72 buick grand sport
69-72 buick apollo


use the bearing and seals for the car you u choose to get the rotors from


calipers
75-75 nova
73-76 monte carlo
73-76 chevelle
73-76 grand prix
73-76 GTO

must use original power brake booster from 61-64 impala

must use a master cylinder from 71-72 impala deep cup bendix part number 10-1496

71-80 gm combination valve

Battery inline fuse


There are fusible links that are located by the starter. To check them probe on the back side of them, you should have 12 volts (or what the battery reads). anything less is a bad link. They look like thick wires with shrink wrap on them.

My 2000 monte carlo will not start


You probably have a blown fusible link (between the starter cable post and the fuel pump relay), or a blown relay fuse or a bad relay. The fusible link and relay should have power always and can be checked with a 12 volt test light.
