Question about Acura Cars & Trucks
When I lift the lever to release the fuel door ... nothing happens. I have to hold the lever up and use a tool to pry the fuel door open

you should have a pull strap in the boot area level with the cap out side, you may have to open a compartment to access it

mone would not open when the rubber deals that are just inside of the door rotted out, I replaced them and now it opens hahaha. No really I'm not kidding.

ok check the sliding door on the side the fuel door is on. there is a safety mech. there the door needs to be closed all the way. if its not you can't open the fuel door. so slam that door then find out where and how it keeps the fuel door from opening. because if you open the door with the fuel door open it may damage fuel door

If it is a lever it should be a cable. A button would be electric.
There may be an emergency release inside the trunk near the door.
It depends on what is damaged how it needs to be repaired.
