2009 366 arctic cat wont start

Ive changed the battery, solenoid, and spark plug and it just cranks like a dead battery

starter might be going bad that can cause it to drain the batterys

did you check to see if it is getting fuel if it has duel tanks the valve to switch tanks can go out and that can stick in a position were it doesnt allow any fuel to pass it could be the pump too

SOURCE: 95 F150 wont crank

the starter should be replaced. The solenoid is kikcing the pinion out but there is no contact being made to turn the starter motor. I have the exact same truck and before i changed the starter used the old starter tap trick. Tap the starter casing with a hammer and it should start turning again. hope this was helpful for you. A hall effect sensor senses a magnetic cylinder inside of a piston and sends an electronic signal to a processor. These are widely used in food/product packaging. I have a '93 formula myself and am unaware of any of these sensors on the car/engine.
Only thing I can think of is my firebird went through about 3 distributors in five years. So far the one in there now is running well. But you'll experience hard starts and stalls if this is tanking on ya.

Check some fuses or see if you are getting any kind of spark. Spark at the plugs or injectors.

if it won't run on starting fluid then you have a no spark issue. i'd check spark out of the coil to the distributor. you could have a bad ignition control module or coil

1998 Honda crv wont start , it started as a hesatation when pulling out,then it started stalling now it wont start at all.I can hear the fuel pump cycle on when you turn the key on ,the plugs have spark...

USA cars, (is it:?) the Check engine light must com one key on.
if not the fuse to ECU is blown. dead ECU, dead EFI,
if the engine will not start , now, then the CEL is stuck on , it can only
go out cranking or running.
are you using a scantool ? just a clue here, we fix cars with a full scan tool there is no other way..... (USA)
fails hot, or cold engine,? or both? ill pretend its dead and cold
1: lost compression, forgot the 60k belt change (cam) and not the belt is snapped and valves in head or bent over (the oldest story on earth)
2: lost spark (all 4 good? or if v6 , all 6?)
3: lost fueling (starting fluid work? test fuel sprayed in to induction?
3a: flooding, soaking wet spark tips, x 4 or x6.

pull oil filler cap,does cam spin cranking, no? byebye engine.

Crank or start? You don't need spark plugs to turn over. You do need a good battery which you now have, a good connection, solenoid and starter. Check all of the last 3.

If the battery went dead, does the computer need to be re-programmed so the car will start? Ive replaced, coil, fuel pump, fuel pressure, has spark to all plugs.

no it does not if the car wont start after all this did someone jump it and cross the jumper cables ? if so the computer is fried or its a crank sensor or cam sensor sounds like the injectors are not spraying fuel . spray starting fluid in the throttle body and see if it starts if it does its one of the three parts above re-post asking the cam and crank sensor ohms values hope this helps

The distributor in the hondas has a function of also engaging the coil to create spark. No spark = no fire. Perhaps take a plug out, leave the lead on, hold it with INSULATED pliers against a solid metal part of the engine and get someone to crank the engine over.

If the plug sparks - coil and firing switch OK. If no spark, check coil first - remove main + feed lead from coil terminals and check on a meter for power with key on but NO motor cranking. No power = faulty distributor/firing switch.No other ideas sorry!

If it won't turn over you may want to check Battery cables for tightness and/or corrosion Starter solenoid Neutral or clutch safety switch

Is it completely dead? If so, check the battery, battery connections, and the alternator (you can have them checked for free at most major auto parts dealers). Also check if you still get lights, radio, door alarm, etc. - if you do then it is likely not the battery. If you have checked the battery and connections and they are good and you hear a clicking sound while cranking that is your starter motor which may be bad (or the starter solenoid may be bad). If you can crank it and it sounds like it wants to start but wont 'catch' then this is usually the spark plugs failing to provide an adequate spark which means you should check the plugs and the wires.

Hi! i think you must describe more problem symptoms;
DESCRIPTION The starting system includes the battery, starter motor, solenoid switch, ignition switch, inhibitor switch(A/T), ignition lock switch, connection wires and the battery cable. When the ignition key is turned to the start position, current flows and energizes the starter motor's solenoid coil. The solenoid plunger and clutch shift lever are activated, and the clutch pinion engages the ring gear. The contacts close and the starter motor cranks. In order to prevent damage caused by excessive rotation of the starter armature when the engine starts, the clutch pinion gear overruns. INSPECT SPARK TEST 1. Remove the spark plug cable. 2. Using a spark plug socket, remove the spark plug. 3. Remove the ignition coil. 4. Install the spark plugs to each spark plug cable. 5. Ground the spark plugs. 6. Check is spark occurs while engine is being cranked. 7. Using a spark plug socket, install the spark plugs. 8. Install the spark plug cable and ignition coil.
