Question about 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan
LIGHT COMES ON AT DIFFERENT TIMES THEN GOES OFF TOOK TO DEALER THEY CHECKED IT OUT.HAD NO CODES CHECKED ALL SENSORS AND WIRING. SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE. LEFT FROM LOT AND LIGHT CAME ON WENT BACK AND PARKED LIGHT WAS OFF. COULD NOT DUPLICATE WHILE THERE. ONWAY HOME ACTED SAME WAY AS BEFORE.
Have someone from the dealership go for a longer drive, or even have a tech keep it overnight to be sure.
Chances are that what they will find is corrosion in the connectors of the front impact sensors, this is a common issue.
The other probability is that the air bag control unit is acting up itself, effectively clearing all the codes every time it acts up.
Be persistant with them, if your not satisfied see the service manager, or go to another dealer.
Hope I've been some help...let me know what you find and Good Luck....
