Question about Nissan Cars & Trucks
On my 1992 nissan stanza my driver back door would not open. from the outside. are friend stuck her child in the car and turned on the child lock not knowing that we could only open door from inside. now i cant open from either side inside or out.

There is a cable that attaches to the inside door latch release handle. The plastic that retains this cable is most likely broken. I have seen this before. If the retainer is not holding the cable sheath correctly, the entire cable moves when the handle is pulled and does not release the door latch.
Remove the door panel and inspect this cable. You will see 2 cables (one is for the door lock). If the plastic is broken, you will need a new interior handle assembly.

kind of hard but it can be done but what probly happen is that the child lock is hafe and hafe not ingaged or disangeged so it's stuck

the linkage behind the handle either the retaining clip broke or popped off need to remove the door panel to check and fix
