I had the same problem. Solution is quite simple. Just remove positive cable from automobile battery terminal for about one minute, connect it back and AUX works again.

SOURCE: Pontiac G6 radio change problem

I had the same problem. You have to buy a bunch of extra parts and even then it probably still wont work. I ended up buying an aux input and hooking it up myself. It took 20 min and sounds great.

the most you can do yourself is check the wire connections at rear of radio , although i assume the AUX is plugged in at the front ? if so try a new wire to the AUX socket , if still no go will have to go to a radio repairer

No sound from turntable

1 ensure your reciever is also set to AUX .
2 try another AUX device such as an MP3 player or CD player and check that your Receiver AUX function is working.
2. connect your Turntable to another input such as DVD, CD, or Tape to see if it works at that position.
ensure that the correct button is selected for which ever position you use.

How to you enable aux input on a 2006 trailblazer cd player, i have an aftermarket adapter for a mp3 player? Peripheral PXDX PXHGM3 rca/3.5mm audio adapter.

That interface most likely is not going to work, because it is not compatible with all the gm radios, don't work good with XM and rear video system,
the problem is the wiring and the software on the interface,

the PIE GM12-AUX v2 works with all the radios in gm vehicles,
radio needs to have a BAND button and CD/AUX

I have the same exact problem, er 02

Try cleaning the CD with a CD cleaner that you can buy at any electronic store like Radio Shack. The CD lens may be dirty and is having a hard time reading the CD. Good luck and hope this helps, and yes your going to have to send the CD player out to have a aux jack installed. Look for any electronic repair shop to add the aux jack, good luck and hope this helps.
