Where is the fuse box for a 1989 Toyota Corolla Levin?

I found 2 fuse boxes in the engine bay 1 is ac and the other is the main fuses and relays for the engine and head lights etc, i have 1 reverse light and tail light that aren't working but the blinker and the other light work just the 3 in the middle don't. The bulbs all work aswell. I'm sure it's a fuse but i can't find the box to check it? Might it be? Please help asap

For the tail light relay its located on the left side of the dashboard (driver side) you going to see a fuse box right on the top of it are three relays the one on the bottom is for the taillights the other two are starer and defogger.

Under the dash by the door opening on drivers side and on the back of the fuse panel cover you will see a tool for pulling them out. If fuses are ok let me know and we;ll go from there. be sure to rate this solution

There could be a fusible link under the hood off the starter relay that is burnt out.

I think I have found the problem. When I wiggle the ignition switch the turn signals and radio go on and off so I feel the issue is in the ignition switch. From what I understand the actual electronics for the switch are at the base of the sterring column behind the lower dash panel and is connected by a rod that may need adjusting.

SOURCE: brake lights won't work. tail lights do. I

need to know if your third brake light up high is working or not.if it isn't,you need to check the brake light switch on the brake pedal with a test light, one side hot all the time, the other side should turn hot when brake pedal is pushed.

2000 Isuzu rodeo headlights not working

your not in CANADA WITH DRL LIGHTS, RIGHT?
daytime, running lights are mandatory there, not in USA !!!
ILL NOT GUESS ! (is that what you want, just wild guessing?)
just the head lights fail?
on high beam, slows and flashed? yes?
and all else is ok (even engine runs and car drives ok>?)
no power, what does that mean, using a voltmeter?

exterior fuse, my guess that means engine by fuse box,.
PDC, real name , names dont matter, but locations do..
my guess, is there are lot of things dead, not just head lights
but they are #1 first fix.why because they operator KEY OFF.and are a primary power feed.

so does battery have 12.6vdc rested.
are the battery terminals cleaned? all 4 ends. (not short it fiddling it)
if yes, then check the power in the PDC box.

ill look at alldata.com for you, just a moment.....
(the schematics are best to use fixing any car)

ill pretend all else is ok, just HL failed, dead.(hi/lo)
HL 101:
the main box, must be hot, 12v there. HL ON.
the HL relay must close HL turned on.
The HL relay feeds 2 fuses next LEFT and RIGHT HL
if both fuses are hot, the ReLAY is good.

the engine bay fuse box EB has a 100am fuse and 50amp
both must be hot, both sides, hot means 12vd.
is it ?
that is first. as you told me there is no power external, so
i assUme the box is dead.
if not dead, then the relay is next.

see below your HL schematic
see relay see pin 2,
pin 2 must be 0volts headlights on.
if not the switch is bad below left or ground to it lost.
lets pretend it is 0v.
so we check relay pin 1 (output)
it must be 12vdc or the relay is bad.
pin 2 is 12v.
as is pin 5 at all times (called hot all the time )
these above steps finds all both HL dead. (not fuse blown)

25839813-xalgvmd0rrdo23whpinqegwp-3-1.jpg nobody ever posts country, why?
Canada does use different lighting, as do all countries, by LAW.

Reversed the boost

you (at the least ) blew 1 or many fuses,
you do that and risk blowing up a fortune on electronics.
its not 60 Chev, that is so forgiving...

fuses: (ijm at alldata.com looking)
fuse 19, 80amps engine bay fuse box. bam?
are the head lights dead, they work all the time, even keys in pockets.
are they part of nothing.
then... that means... fuse 19 is bad.
open the fuse box in the engine bay see those.
they will all be dead, and 19 toast.
i just use a voltemeter to find which are blown.
starting there, then working to the cab box.
12v good
0v bad, key on

Fuz box

Your vehicle has 3 fuse panels. Instrument fuse panel is located under the dashboard, left of the steering column. Passenger side fuse panel is located behind passenger side kick panel. Main fuse and relay block is in engine compartment, near battery. There does not appear to be a "reverse light" fuse. Do all you other lights work properly(headlights, brake lights, turn signals, running lights, dashboard lights, etc.)? If so then there is a problem in the reverse light circuit, OR the bulbs are burned out. YES, I have seen both burn out at same time. Hope this helps a little
