SOURCE: Timing chain broke on a 2007 cx7 w 65K miles

you need to take it to your local dealer and raise a big fuss because this is a known problem and if you yell loud enough you should be able to get this fixed under warranty.

Replace outer front door handle Mazda cx7 2010 model

Hey, I just use a metal zipstrip. Cheap and easy. Look on youtube for Prizm handle replacement. You basically slip it under the current handle and slip it in the zip buckle to make a loop. It's ghetto but works and does not use duct tape unlike most Red Green type "solutons".

Transmission problem with a 2007 Mazda cx7

This indicates a problem in the transmission control module as it is not activating the solenoids/servos and consequently the sensors that read turbine speed and output shaft speed are not reading the correct difference of the two units . Have this checked out at an accredited auto transmission shop.

Recently (Nov 2010) bought a 2007 mazda cx7. Started up noisy but dealer advised this was normal. Turns out it needs a new timing chain. It only has 52000 on the clock. New car warranty has run out, of...

The Powertrain Warranty should be good for 60k or 5yrs. This is a common problem. Fix it and get rid of it before you have to shell out $6k on a new engine.

How do I change the bulb in the low beam headlight in my 2007 Mazda CX7?

Removing the bulb in a CX7 is a real PITA. If replacing the right bulb, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, or do the opposite for the left side. (or you can opt to remove the entire wheel on the corresponding side) You'll need to remove 3-4 of the fender well clips with a phillips screwdriver being careful not to break them. Once the screws are removed, pry back the wheel well cover to access the back of the headlamp to change the bulb.
