If the light is still on, go to an Autozone, Advance, or Oreilys for a free scan. You probably had moisture in the fuel that settled in the tank. Now the O2 sensors may be going crazy from the additive, but a scan will tell.

SOURCE: doesnt always start, but lights, radio, AC/heat does come on.

First place to check is the battery. Old ones can push your lights , radio, etc, but the starter is the real load. . Can verify this by using jumper cables to a running vehicle and watch your machine fire right up! The reason mornings are the worst, is the battery has had the most time to discharge, and it is probably cooler outside.

SOURCE: 1999 Olds Alero, unleaded gas. Am having problem with gas tank

have your evaporative purge valve solenoid check. because its controls the gas vapors going to canister purge or vent valve.take it to dealers have the evap system scan because its not venting or controling gas vapor.it suppose vent gas vapor to intake to be burn.if it dont work it causes excess gas vapor pressure built up in tank. make it hard to pump gas into it.

Filled up with gas then later hardly cranks n bairly goes once gotten started

Same thing happened to me. I had to use a moisture removal product added to the gas. I used something from STP, but there are quite a few different types on the shelf. It worked very well. I keep some w/ me now & never purchased gas from that gas station again.

Run out of gas and put some watery gas in the tank, it cut off 3mins later

Just plain silly. Remove gas tank, drain and dry. Replace fuel filter. Fill gas tank with 5 gallons of fresh gas. Add a bottle of water remover to tank then start and drive. Good luck.

Check the spark plug. My truck did the same thing and it was because the spark plug had completely been removed.

How to compute kilometers per litre

You would fill up the vehicle, then divide the mileage traveled by the amount of fuel it took to fill the tank again.
So assuming you filled the tank each time, you would divide 609km by 100.4 ltr which is .1648 or 16.49 L/100km
Thats about 40 mpg.

When won't start try removeing the gas cap (slowly) to release any pressure in tank. Let me know if this helps.

When I try to put fuel in my 04 f150 it kicks the fuel system over flow on the gas pump

Don't put the fill nozzle in all the way... pretty common problem.... fuel vapors come out the neck fooling the nozzle into thinking gas is overflowing. Not only is it annoying, but the vapor recovery system in the pump is actually sucking gas (vapors) from your tank, essentially robbing you of gas. Always try to fill when temperatures are cooler, like early morning or night, to reduce vapor recovery.

2002 passat v6 fsi engine. 90000miles..recently i changed air filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter, sythelic engine oil..it ran good. then one day i put gumont fuel line cleaner with full premium gasoline...

This vehicle is due for a Fuel pump.

Mixing and using to many of these Gas treatment is not a good thing, i prefer putting in 1/2 of the bottle during a fill up and only after 3k or every 6 months.

Now what to do:

You need to have this one serviced.

*** If you plan to just keep driving try refilling it at a 1/2 tank to see if this will dilute all the additives you have in the tank and clear things up.

Hope this tip helps.
