SOURCE: Emissions Indicator came on! OH NO!!

It could be any sensor or leak anywhere in the emission system.
The best thing to do is to have a code scanner hooked up to the car to pin point the actual problem. If there ia an autozone or advanced auto near you go there, and tell them you need a code retrieved, if not call different auto part stores to find out if they do that. Takes about 30 seconds to get the code.

2004 Honda Pilot, right rear brake light doesn`t work. I know it`s not the light bulb because it works for the turn signal and hazard lights.

Chances are that is the bulb. Its a dual filament bulb. The brake portion of it is burnt out. try swapping it with the left side and see if it works then. If it works, get a new bulb.

Check for error codes as this can be related to fault in the transmission , failure of the sensors or a possible ECU error.

2004 Honda Pilot engine light came on this morning. Last bought gas 5 days ago. Auto Zone checked and found code P1456, emission control system leak detected (fuel tank system)
Four options;
1) Loose fuel cap
2) Vapor canister saturated
3) Failed vent solanoid
4) Failed purge solenoid

Thanks.

2004 Honda Pilot emmisions malfuction warning light. Whats up, some say change gas cap, go to high octane.

could be your oxygen sensor going bad. it is part of the emissions system. you can usually go to a local auto parts store and they will check your computer to see what it is.usually it is free.

did you check the bulbs or the wiring to the bulbs?
Also if you put special bulbs in with higher wattage, they could have melted the socket and shorted out
