SOURCE: alternator fuse location

fuse will be located in the engine compartment if it has one. mine was doing the same think but it was a bad ground wire. if you want to test this you can simply use a jumper cable and attach it to the negative battery terminal. then to the engine block. it should start charging if that was the problem

SOURCE: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stuck On

the torque converter clutch circuit is inside the torque converter and is not something u can repair, the torque converter must be cut apart and rebuilt by companies who specialize in this, so all you can do is pull the transmission out of the car and replace the torque converter with a rebuilt or new unit.

SOURCE: My 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier won't turn over.

first check the starter, it may need some cleaning especially the terminals for the contact inside. next the ignition switch, maybe the plastic with the wires is worn out thus not having contact.

First make sure the battery is fully charged. Also make sure the belt on the alternator is not broken/missing. after you charge the battery, start the vehicle and put a voltage meter/multimeter on volts dc and apply the leads to the battery posts, you should see anywhere from 13-14.5 volts from the alternator if it is working. if not, check the fuse or fuses for the alternator. if the fuse is good, replace the alternator, and test the battery.

Where is the fuse located for the alternator on a 97 chevy cavalier z24

Well, the main line from the alternator to the battery is protected by a fuseable link at the starter. Its a large wire that acts like a fuse.

Replacing head gasket on my 94 cavalier I have removed the alternator, intake and exhaust are loose; question is how do I keep from throwing the timing off when I pull the head?

there is not a way to not affect the valve timing, the cam belt must be replaced in a repair like this, when u put it back together you must reset and confirm all the valve timing marks are in correct alignment, just no way way around this, if the cam is timed right the engines ignition timing is correct as well and will require no adjustment. this answer applies to all engine that use a cam drive belt.

I have a 97 2.4l twin cam in 2001 will it work

It will work as long as you have the ECM to match the Motors. The regular 2.2 has a different engine management system then the 2.4 so the engine will fit but the ECM needs to understand the engine.
Good luck and hope this helps.
