Try this..At the driver's seat open your car door all the way then look at the dashboard end. Pry off the plastic cover...the diagram should also be at the back of the cover.

That is good oil pressure, just make sure if it's cold, you let it warm up a bit before putting it under a load.. if you notice a spike in pressure when you first start driving, just take it easy for a bit until the pressure normalizes.. too much pressure can be an indicator the oil is not up to temp yet.

SOURCE: Knock sensor location
if its a cmfi or csefi injection system theres 2 knock sensors 1 on each side of engine block,1 under the left bank of block,the other under right bank of block,tbi inj. theres 1 in front of starter.

these chevs are known for oil pressure switch going bad its located on theback right side of the engine it is replace able without having to remove anything u will need a mechanics mirror to see it
