SOURCE: cruise does not work AC/Heater fan only blows on

My Windstar cruise quit, and after lots of looking it was the "switch" on the brake master cylinder. Only when the switch got very bad did many things quit. It was low voltage that made the cruise not work so if not the master cylinder switch you may have a bad connection in one of the many plugs power runs thru causing a low voltage problem..

Use a jumper wire and jump 12 volts to the blower moter and see if it comes on, make sure that you have a good ground. If the motor does not come on then it is going to be the blower motor.. hope that helps mmkayyyy

Blower moter does not work ( 2004 monte carlo )

Check for power to heater motor, if you have power then you will need a new heater motor. The heater motor is located under the dash on the passengers side. You can try tapping on the motor and sometimes it will start up (short term fix). There is also a resistor in behind the heater motor but normally the fan will work on one speed if the resistor is the problem.

The heater is working but blowing out little air

Hi anubus33
If the blower moter is working on low speed only and it's not making any strange noises, there are 3
components that can cause this problem. First and the most common is the blower moter resistor,
located under the hood at the center of the firewall, next is the high blower relay(not uncommon)
located in the junction box between the right strut tower and the firewall and the fan switch on the
dash. An easy way out is to stop by the local salvage yard and p.u. a resistor+relay for cheap they
should be the same as many other GM'S of the same year. The counter guy at the yard will know.
Hope this helps.

94 roadmaste heater moter wont blow, tested motor

if the motor does't work at all then it's probably the motor,if the resister is gone you should still have high,it does'nt go through the resister.you may have a bad ground to the resister, you may need a relay.

2000 Ford Taurus-- Heater not working.

what you need to do is check that your relays are OK
in some cars you cannot see through the relay like a fuse
the only way to check if it is the relays is by replacing them
if this dose not work and you have a electronic climate control system your controm box may be burnt out this will need replacing

Heater fan motor works itermitanly

it could be the wire behind the fuse panel itself or the plug that plugs into the fan check these with a 12 volt tester and you should be able to find the problem also check the fuses under the hood and if you have an owners manual check in there and see if any are listed and where they are located
