Question about 1996 Ford Explorer
Just driving around town seems to be fine except sometimes when you let off the gas it acts up hesitating before it will start going again. We don't have a manual so we don't know where the fuel pump and filter are on this. Are they in the fuel tank?
When was the last time the truck had a tune up? plugs wires air filter fuel filter and if it has over 40,000 miles a new drivebelt put some STP gas treatment in the gas tank and if this helps the problem replace the fuel filter; the fuel pump is in the gas tank and the fuel filter is underneath the truck normally on the driverside just under the door or the passanger side just in front of the rear tire in the frame
