SOURCE: replace left side rear view mirror/2005 buick century

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

SOURCE: No power to right side

Inspect the fuse if they are all good other wise inspect the relay. If they all check out OK then you may have an issue with the wiring since they all are all found in one location.

Power Mirror Wiring Schematic 92 Buick Lesabre 1992 thru 1997 & More

Here is a schematic which my dad & I devised over the course of two hours for the power mirror wiring on our 1992 lesabre, as we couldn't find any wiring info to handle this issue.

http://www.iqmetals.com/else/lesabre/

That's our/my website, and that folder will let you see & get all of the pictures & diagrams

The wiring harness for the power mirror switch was acquired through Rock Auto, and the wire lettering scheme was embossed onto the plastic.
Here's a written breakout of the wires & their locations/purposes.

A= Ground
B= Common Left/Right Motion(Splits to both sides)
C= Common Up/Down Motion(Splits to both sides)
D= Left Side - Left/Right Motion
E= Left Side - Up/Down Motion
F= Right Side - Up/Down Motion
G= Right Side - Left/Right Motion
H= Positive 12V

Now Assuming that all of the power mirrors are wired & color coordinated the same, that would connect....
B -- Light Blue wire of Both Mirrors
C -- Green wire of Both Mirrors
D -- Gray wire of Drivers Side Mirror
E -- Dark Blue wire of Drivers Side Mirror
F -- Dark Blue wire of Passengers Side Mirror
G -- Gray wire of Passengers Side Mirror

In our circumstance we hooked up the power and ground inline with the power window Power(Pink) & Ground(Black) wires which are nearby in the door. The fuse/circuit should easily handle the minor load of power mirrors, even if you were using the windows and mirrors at the very same time... a rarity I do suppose.

How do I replace a side view mirror for a honda accord '08? drivers side to be exact.

to replace JUST the mirror glass, goto www.burcoinc.com On the left click on 'redi cut'. Under "redi cut" click on 'Installation'. At the right, I believe you mirror type is 'Snap Fit/ Drop Fit'.
This shows HOW to replace the mirror, to GET the mirror you will have to check with your local glass shop or dealership. (I don't think Burco will sell to you directly) Just make sure it is AUTO mirror, See FMVSS-111 on Burco's web site.
If you need to replace the entire mirror head assembly...it is held on with 3 bolts located under the door panel. HTH

Removal & Installation The door outside mirrors are stud mounted to the door filler. The mirror glass face may be replaced by placing a piece of tape over the glass then breaking the mirror face. Adhesive back mirror faces are available. Left side flat and right side convex mirror faces must be replaced with the same type mirror face when surfaced.
  1. Remove the door trim panel.
  2. Remove the upper trim panel.
  3. Remove the sound absorber.
  4. Remove the (3) nuts.
  5. Remove the control cable from the upper trim panel.
  6. Remove the filler and mirror.
To install:
  1. Place the filler over the studs on the mirror.

Replacing the drivers side mirror

Inside fuse box is under the drivers side dash panel, where your left knee would be sitting in the seat.

As far as the mirror, the access to the bolts are behind where your tweeter is on the inside of the car where the mirror meets.

Mirrors will not fold in.

It is a stuck motor. Water gives rust inside housing. Remove mirror and clean motor and components. This is a well known error for H2 mirrors.
