I have one Honda Accord 1999. One time, when I was driving, brake and steering wheel locked; oil light, battery light and brake light were on. What's happened to my car?

I have '99 accord LX 4cyl sedan and the ignition switch is a problem for these cars. I replaced my ignition 2 or 3 years ago because it would randomly shut off and sometimes not start back up right away. It only got worse until I fixed it, it would die on the highway or freeway sometimes. Haven't had that problem since. i think it cost like $240 or so. Also if you have an automatic, be careful, they are notoriously bad for going out after 100k miles. mine did and its an expensive fix. good luck.

Over heating brakes in hot weather with a strong smell

When was the last time your brakes where replaced. Your rims can get hot sometimes even on short trips depending on how often you need to use your brakes. But if your pads are low and "burning up" you may want to look into getting them replaced before they cause rotor damage. You will also loose braking performance and loose stopping power.

How to change rear brake pads for a honda 2007 ridgeline

The 2007 Honda Accord is equipped with four wheel disk brakes. Disk brakes wear down and require regular maintenance. Worn brake pads can cause squeeling and grinding noises, as well as reduced braking power. Improperly maintained brake pads can cause damage to the brake rotors as well as brake failure. Save on labor costs by replacing your own brake pads.www.lightdeal.co.uk

Car is squealing persistently from rear right tire

Pull the wheel, you will find that the brake pad,or after pulling the drum, the shoes are in bad shpe,if not ,check the wheel bearing, but my bet is the shoes,or pads are bad,do A brake job,it will most likely be the problem.

Honda accord 1997 ignition switch does not turn?

TRY TURNING STEERING WHEEL LEFT OR RIGHT WHILE TURNING KEY, especially if your wheels are turned to either side and is not straight. Turn to the same side that they wheels are turned to if they are not straight. If that doesn't work that ignition lock may be at fault and you will need to replace. Good Luck
