P0171 and P0174 Left and Right bank lean trouble codes pulled from ECU. Check Engine Light illuminated.

P0171 = system too lean bank 1
P0174 = system too lean bank 2

The fuel/air mixture is too lean for the entire engine. The fuel pump pressure could be too low. The fuel pump pressure regulator could be at fault. There could be an air leak downstream of the MAF sensor. MAF sensor (hot wire type) could be dirty. Check for intake manifold vacuum leaks. The engine coolant temp sensor and/or the intake air temp sensor could be faulty (stuck at full hot mode).

2000 E-350 V-10. P0174 with exhaust fix

Before I even finished reading this i knew you had a clogged cat. If you have fixed everything you mentioned i would lean towards a clogged cat. This is a large reason this code pops up.

To check this you could pull that cat out and drive around and see if the code comes back, make sure to stay away from the police though.

Check engine light on. error code is P0174

P0174 is bank one too lean. to solve:

First check for vac leaks. In the sohc the intake manifold gaskets are the primary culprit. They are cheap around $20.00 and easy to replace. The stock ones are known to fail. Replace them as it is good insurance. Secondly, check for any vac leaks between the maf (mass air flow) sensor and the intake manifold. Hoses, clamps and etc

Check engine light codes P0174, P0105

P0174, refers to a lean condition of the engine....Possible causes would be a vacuum leak, clogged fuel filter, or a leaking intake gasket( this is the most likely cause because Jaguar has a service bulletin on this very issue). P0105, refers to a MAP sensor malfunction which could also be causing the P0174
