Probably a bad radio, if you can remove the radio,check for power and ground. If you have those then probably the radio is faulty.

There are MANY different options when it comes to your system such a XM or Sirius satellite systems and then wiring to the amp & steering wheel controls. In any case it way to much to post until I know what you have in your vehicle.
